"Not feeling the wedding jitters because I am so busy with my shows," says Vivek on Marriage with Divyanka
Television industry is going to witness one of the biggest wedding this year. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi is all set to tie the knot with her co-star Vivek Dahiya.
Both the actors met on the sets of the show YHM and eventually fell in love. They got engaged earlier this year in Chandigarh and will be getting married next month on July 8 in Bhopal.
Talking to a popular daily about wedding preparations and jitters, the groom Vivek Dahiya stated, "I don't think I am worried or jittery at all about it. Truth is that I don’t have that kind of time. You need to be free to be feeling those jitters but I am not feeling that because I am so busy with my shows."
The actor is currently seen Kawach alongside Mona Singh and Mahek Chahel. His family is totally co-operative due to Vivek's tight schedule. Talking about it further, he said, "It's getting very challenging to balance things because whenever I get some time off from one show, my creative people put me on the other show. To top it, I am also getting married. The wedding was decided before my new show, so we can’t do much about the wedding date. Divyanka and I still try to make most about little time we have. I have very limited responsibilities, my family and her family is very understanding."
He added further, "We just have the responsibility of sorting out our trousseau. We sit down for 10-15 min every evening on Whatsapp and approvals happen there. All the coordination is done on the phone."
Both the actors were part of the same show but wasn't romantically paired. But their chemistry was an instant it. Vivek is ready to work with Divyanka, "I don’t know about her but I have no hassles what so ever. There was a rumour, that we will be paired together but there was nothing concrete about it. People would want to see us but let us see what opportunities come along," Vivek concluded.
