If I Had Such A Clause In My Show Where I Met My Wife Vahbiz, I Would Have Laughed It Off - Vivian On The No Dating Clause
That the Actors Vatsal Seth and Ishita Dutta got into a heated argument with the makers of their upcoming show was the talk of the town. While the rest of the clauses laid down in the agreement papers were okay with the two, one clause that irked them was the No Dating clause. This clause refrains the cast from getting involved or dating anyone from off or on screen team of the show till the respective actor is a part of the show.
In a bizarre clause put down, actor Vivian Dsena shared his thoughts. He said, "I have heard of the dating clause. I don't see it practically effective. One can't control or put a tab on one's feelings and emotions. Had I had such a clause in my show, Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani where I met Vahbbiz Dorabajee who is now my wife, I would have laughed it off. Clauses can't be put on emotions and relationships. As an actor, everyone is expected to be professional in approach and it's an individual decision to agree to a particular clause. It's a subjective matter. At the end of the day consensus has to be there between actor and production house or channel. What actors do in their personal life outside set is their decision. On the set decorum is expected. Even if co-stars fall in love they should not disturb the shoot or unit in any way. On the set work shouldn't suffer in any way." Well Said Vivian!
Recently, the news of Pearl Puri and Hiba Nawab being slammed by their CO-star Aanchal Khurana for indulging in PDA on sets of their show, Meri Sasu Ma leading to delay in the shoot was doing rounds. Earlier too, such incidents have led to issues on sets of various shows.
