Here's what Dipika Kakar aka Simar of Sasural Simar Ka has to say about turning into a 'Fly'!
Color's show, Sasural Simar Ka's current plot of Simar turning into a fly has become the talk of the town.
Unlike earlier, the female protagonist will now be seen donning wings and antennas instead of heavy sarees and fancy jewellery. The bahu aka new fly of SSK, Dipika Kakar(Simar) seems to be unaffected by the hullabaloo created around the entire show. While talking to a leading daily, the pretty actress said, "An actor never determines or has a say in the story line. Having said that, 'Sasural Simar Ka' has taken many liberties creatively, which have ended up becoming trends on television. Aren't Naagins and Daayans the current trend? And who wouldn't want to be a part of a show that is setting trends rather than following them."
Hmm! Point noted. So it's high time the audiences change their ideas of entertainment in terms of flies, naagins etc! What say?
