When of your age, even I have done all that you kids do, just in a purified way: Sanskaari Babuji aka Alok Nath

We have seen him as the goody goody father nurturing his kids into being the agyakaari children. We have seen him be the father probably every 90's kid would have wanted. Yes, Bollywood's sanskaari babuji aka Alok Nath has, is & will always remain synonymous to a well cultured Papa. Just the way the 60's era considered Nirupa Roy as the mother of every actor on screen, similarly the 90's era had Alok Nath be the reel babuji of almost every actor. 

But wait! This Sanskaari Babuji is now all pepped up to modernise himself with the gen next. And why do we say that?! So he is all set to host a saucy show, Sinskaari simply based on adult talks incorporated with a little naughtiness, but in the Sanskaari style! We caught up with him to shred light on this news that raised our eyebrows as well. 

"So the show is all about when I take up an offer thinking the title to be Sanskaari but later I find out that the title is Sinskaari! I get shocked on knowing about it but having signed the contract, I am forced to go about hosting it. It's all about interviewing macho, hot, sexy guests while we indugle into talking something adultish, says Alok. "But being the babuji and keeping my sanskaariness alive, I try and host the saucy show in my own cultured style. Wearing my typical Dhoti kurta with a teeka on my forehead, I host this hot show", laughs Alok. 

While talking about breaing the stereotype of him being synonymous to being Overly Cultured, Alok says, "No, I don't want to break any perceptions or stereotypes! Earlier, when trolls and memes were being made on me tagging as the Sanskaari Babuji, I firstly had felt surprised and thought main kahanse aagaya ab?! What have I done suddenly?! But then I realised it was working in my favour and there was no need to take offence! So I enjoyed it," says Alok. 

So how different is the Sanskaari Babuji from Alok Nath?! To this the fine actor says, "Let me tell you, there's is no living being so Sanskaari nowadays! When of your age, even I have enjoyed my young days and have done all that you kids do, just in a purified way, laughs Alok! 

Talking about the collaboration Alok mentioned that the series has been directed by Raghu and Rajiv. "One fine day, I got a call from them and they explained me the concept of Sinskaari. I was initially hesitant to take it up thinking that the audiences won't accept me in this role. But they showed confidence and convinced me for this." 

The first episode that instantly managed to grab atrention went online yesterday saw Raghu and Rajiv be the first guests on the show. The next celeb on board is the hot Mandana Karimi.
