Ruslaan's Deja Vu Role In Balika Vadhu, Again Romances An Older Woman!
Chocolate boy Ruslaan Mumtaz is all st to be seen in Balika Vadhu. He made his telly world debut with Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara opposite Sangeeta Ghosh. The similarity between both his shows is that he the romantic lead opposite him are older to him!
Ruslaan plays the role of Krish, a US-based NRI who comes to India to under a doctor played by pretty Mahii Vij. She is essaying the role elder to him. When a popular daily asked him, he laughingly said, "My friends are saying that in the span of two years that I have done TV, instead of looking mature, I am looking younger. I don’t seem to be aging. Mahii is technically younger than Sangeeta, but because I look younger than most of the girls, I get these roles."
Mahii Vij plays the role of Nandini who has faced a traumatic childhood and Krish will help in getting out her fun side. When asked about his role, he said, "Krish doesn’t know about her past. For him, she is just a girl, who he is fascinated with and tries to woo her. In the process, he ends up entertaining her and she opens up."
Incidentally, his first show also had the same plot where his character Dhruv helps Saanchi played by Sangeeta Ghosh loosen up herself and get her fun side too. "Yes, honestly, I am doing the same role, with a different accent and a different heroine. I have already got my training and I am all set for it," said Ruslaan on this similarity.
