CINTAA to take action against Dolly Bindra & Rakhi Sawant for their antics after Pratyusha's suicide
Pratyusha Banerjee's untimely death came as an extremely saddening news to all. While there are friends from industry who have vowed to bring justice to Pratyusha and are seen standing strong with her parents, there were a few who seemed to have converted the disturbing incident into their 5min of fame!
The drama queen of glamour industry Rakhi Sawant and Dolly Bindra took the scenario to a whole new low. Bindra leaked the audio tape of her conversation with Pratyusha's mother after the actress died. The shattered mother was heard inconsolable over her daughter's sudden demise. She also made the pictures of Pratyusha's dead body go viral and claimed that she saw Pratyusha wearing sindoor. On the other hand, Rakhi Sawant went on to hold a press conference seeking justice for Pratyusha. There, she stated how ceiling fans should be banned in order to prevent suicides. Needless to say, both these ladies literally made a mockery out of the tragic incident.
Now, they seemed to have raised quite a few eyebrows with their antics, offending many , including CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes' Association). The association will be sending a show cause notice to both of them. A senior source in the governing body informs informed a daily, “We are appalled by their insensitive and obnoxious statements. It proves how inhuman they are even in matters of death. It's a serious matter, and we are sending a show-cause notice to them.“ Amit Behl, Chairperson Dispute Committee, CINTAA, confmed to the daily saying, “A notice will be sent to them soon. People can't stoop so low and hog the limelight when the matter is as sensitive as this. I will raise the issue at our Annual General Meeting on May 1 and propose a ban on them.“
The investigations in the suicide case are on! Pratyusha committed suicide on 1st April.
