Colors channel's longest running show Balika Vadhu to take a leap soon has been doing rounds for quite some time now. The generation leap will introduce a fresh cast.

According to latest reports, actress Mahhi Vij has been roped in to play the role of grown-up Nimboli after the leap.
Child artiste Gracy Goswami, who currently plays the role of Nimboli will make an exit from the show.
While talking to a leading daily, Mahhi confirmed the news. She said, "I was getting a lot of offers, but I auditioned for them halfheartedly, as I feared the show wouldn't last more than six months. But ever since I gave a look test for BV, I have been praying every single day for the deal to materialise. For me, it's a fresh show with a fresh cast and approach. I am embarking on a new journey and have taken up a new show. I hope it will be a long inning." It is said that actor Avinash Sachdeva will also be a part of the show after the leap.

"Balika Vadhu" will take the leap April 25 onwards. The joining of the fresh star cast will mark the exit of veteran actress Surekha Sikri (Dadisa), Toral Rasputra(Anandi) and Rajeshwari Sachdev (Mangala) from the show.
