The chirpy artist will be seen as the lead in Bindass’s new offering titled Girl in the City. Through an engaging narrative, the coming-of-age series will portray a journey of self-discovery, as a young girl with dreams to fulfill stepsin to the bustling city of Mumbai.
Sharing her thoughts on her latest project, Mithila said, “I play a 21 year old girl named Meera, who comes to Mumbai to fulfil her dream of being a fashion designer. While I am born and brought up in Mumbai, the role would require me to step into the shoes of a girl who is experiencing the hustle and bustle of a big city for the first time, and I’m really excited to take up the challenge.”
The 13 episode series of 15 minutes each will first go live on Facebook. It will be followed by a television airing on bindass and a wider digital release on YouTube. It is all set to be released on April 28.
