18 Years Of Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Ekta Kapoor, Urvashi Dholakia & others mark milestone with nostalgic video
Not only has the producer but even Urvashi and Karanvir Bohra who portrayed the role of Prem Bajaj also shared a nostalgic post of the serial on their Instagram account.
Ekta Kapoor's Balaji's show Kasautii Zindagii Kay which had released on 29 October 2001 starring Shweta Tiwari as Prerna Sharma, Cezzane Khan as Anurag Basu, Urvashi Dholakia as Komolika Majumdar and Ronit Roy as Rishabh Bajaj had entertained the audience for seven years. It went on till 2008. Today the show completes 18 years. On the occasion of this, the producer Ekta Kapoor shared an adorable post on her Instagram account. She wrote, "18 years ago I launched two shows on d same day oct 29 th! Both busted d rating charts ! One on SONY #kutumb n one on star #kasautiizindagiikay ! Thanku audience teams Channels ! The show recorded one of the highest TRPs at that time. A reboot of the show, also titled Kasautii Zindagii Kay, is currently going on air. It stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes. At the start of the show Hina Khan was portraying the role of Komolika but then later the actress was replaced by Kahiin Toh Hoga fame Aamna Sharif.
