EXCLUSIVE - Rohan Mehra on arrival of onscreen dad Karan Mehra's baby: I'm very happy, he's going to be a great father
Rohan Mehra congratulated Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal for welcoming a baby boy.
When Rohan Mehra had joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, he found a father figure in Karan Mehra. Their bond was shown during their days as contestants on Bigg Boss 10.
Karan and wife Nisha Rawal have now welcomed a baby boy and Rohan is elated for his onscreen father.
In a small tête-à-tête with Pinkvilla, when we asked Rohan about the arrival of Karan Mehra's little munchkin, the actor said, "I'm very happy. I want to congratulate him. He used to play my onscreen father in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and now he has become a real-life dad. I'm glad and happy. I hope God blesses the baby and the family. He's going to be a great father."
On asking him about one quality that will make Karan a great father, Rohan replied, "He is very calm and composed. The one quality I admire about him is that he listens to everyone and guides them well. He guided me as well when I joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and was very helpful and he took care of me."
Was there a particular moment where Karan played a father figure in real life? "In Bigg Boss, I had a task when he had to shred his wife's picture for me and he did that for me. So I think that is the most memorable moment for me," Karan recalled.
When does he plan on meeting the baby and Rohan revealed, "As soon as the baby comes home."
This is definitely sweet, indeed.
Meanwhile, Karan took to Instagram to share the news on the arrival of his baby boy. He shared a picture of his son's feet and his caption reads, "The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts, this is something that cannot be expressed in just words. We are ready for this new journey with our little blessing that has arrived in the form of a beautiful baby boy."
