TV's brat - Karanvir Bohra - who is busy promoting his upcoming Hindi horror film 'Mumbai 125 KM' - shared his thoughts on his liking for the role in the film, the rapport he shares with his wife Teejay, and his equation with his 'Qubool Hai' co-actress Surbhi Jyoti - during a talk with Pinkvilla.com. And guess what, we also asked him his views on his bratty image. Read on to know what KVB had to say.

Please tell us about your role in ‘Mumbai 125 KM’.

It's a horror film made in 3D. I play the role of 'Prem,' a name which is very close to my heart, since I had played a character by the same name in 'Kasauti Zindagi Kay.' My film role is more powerful though, I play an intense, brooding lover boy.

What made you choose to do a film of a horror genre? What pulled you towards the film?

I was attracted to the genre since it's something I've never tried before. I also appreciated the fact that it was going to be made in 3D, Digital Dolby Atmos, the first of its kind. It's shot in proper 3D, and not converted later into 3D (which is what happens with a lot of today's 3D movies.) This film will be a different kind of experience for the viewers!

Any spooky experience you would like to relate to us while working in the film?

I think I was too busy to notice if there was! :) I was shooting for two projects that time - 'Saubhagyavati Bhava,' in the day, and 'Mumbai 125KM' in the night. I would come to set, do my work and go back to my other job. I didn't have time to pay attention to much else.

Karanvir, you come across as a brat, a free bird and one of those men who would not easily commit in a relationship. Are you really like that? Also, your wife, Teejay, appears to be very devoted to you and loving as well. So, a) What attracted you to each other in the first place? b) How do both of you, who look poles apart personality wise, manage to keep your bond intact?

First of all, I'm nothing like the characters I play! ;) I commit very easily in relationships. In fact, I was the one who convinced Teejay that we should get married as soon as possible! (I asked her after five months of dating and she said yes.) I guess my charm worked. ;)

And yes, Teejay, is very devoted to me, but she is not the insecure, possessive type. She's very proud of where I've reached in my career - she's been instrumental in helping me get there.

What brought us together? Well, Teejay says she was looking for someone with a 'high spiritual quotient.' I realized when we met, I was looking for the same thing. We believe in the same things, we see blessings in little moments, we believe in all Gods. We both believe our profession is a platform to do greater good. Also, we met at Mount Mary's Church. That itself was a sign that there was something greater at work.

Personality-wise, we are different. I am emotional and sensitive, she is practical and smart - that's why our relationship works. We imbibe the best of each other's qualities. I love the relation we share, there is space, there is trust and there is a sense of understanding. Without saying or asking we know what each other wants. :) We have a soul connection.

How are you finding working in ‘Qubool Hai’? Your on-screen chemistry with Surbhi Jyoti has been liked very much. How does it feel working with her?

I've been lucky that with every project I do, I get such talented co-stars! Working with Surbhi is a lot of fun, she's vibrant, energetic, and it goes without saying she is a terrific actress. She is a lot like me when it comes to work, she gets completely involved in her role, which makes it easier for both of us to portray our characters. She is always open to my suggestions, too. She has no ego. When two actors are in sync like that, they can create magic on-screen. :)

We have seen you and Teejay many times bonding with the ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 5’ gang. Be it at Kratika and Nikitin's wedding or celebrating birthdays as a close-knit group. How close are you all to each other and how often do you all meet?

I think this was the finest set of actors and celebrities in any reality show! Teejay and I brought certain energy to the show. We bonded with everyone in KKK, and we did our best to keep everyone else connected to each other, too. We all genuinely love and respect each other and I don't think this bond will ever break. (God willing) In fact, it only gets stronger. We all stay connected on our Whatsapp group, we celebrate our special days together, and we meet as often as we can. It's actually quite amazing - I don't think this has happened on any other reality show before! I love my KKK family - we are friends for life.

How does your wife deal with the female attention you get?

She encourages it! Haha! She says, 'If people stop paying attention to you, we're out of business!' ;) According to her, when there is adulation, it means work is going well. :) My fans adore her just as much - they love her positive energy and happy vibes!

So, what’s next after ‘Mumbai 125 KM’? Do you plan to make a move into films for good if given a chance?

Television is the future, so I wouldn't leave it. Movies give you the coveted big-screen platform, but nothing can match the love and warmth of a devoted television audience. I'm actually at a very lovely space in my life - I'm entering films yet at the same time I have my pick of the best of TV projects. I consider myself versatile enough to act in both, so I would not leave one for the other. I'm excited about what the future holds!

Any message to your fans?

You guys touch my heart more than I can express in words. I am thankful to all you beautiful souls out there, for showering me with so much affection. I am blessed to be so loved! @RealKVB
