EXCLUSIVE: "Everything looks very scary on TV" - says 'Jai Ho' actress Sana Khan on her KKK6 stint!
'Jai Ho' actress and model Sana Khan had signed on the dotted line to be a part of stunt based reality show - 'Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 6'. We at Pinkvilla.com caught up with the actress recently to ask her about her new stint and much more. Excerpts from the interview:
How did the idea of participating in KKK occur in your mind?
I was offered KKK last year but I thought I could never do something like this. But when they approached me again, I sought the counsel of my well-wishers and then decided to give it a try. I thought the best way to over come fear is by fighting it.
After working in a mainstream Hindi film – Jai Ho – the audience will be seeing you in a TV reality show. Do you think it would affect your reputation as a Hindi film heroine? Was it a planned move to take up KKK?
I don't think anything affects you badly until you make the wrong decisions. As an actor and as a person, I wanted to do different things. But Hindi movies really don't give girls that kind of opportunity as we don't have such subjects on frequent basis; it's very rare. TV has given me my biggest break. I am on the show 'coz of the confidence on Colors team and liking for the show's format.
What is your worst fear with respect to KKK? What is it that you fear facing the most?
Honestly, going by the past seasons, I have noticed that everything looks very scary on TV. It's basically a mental thing how far one can push themselves. So, I will try giving my best in things I fear and things I fear the most ;)
Who are the strongest contenders in the show, according to you?
Well, I only know people by the characters they play on TV. I don't know them personally so it's difficult to say whose the strongest because we all look fit. During the show, while performing the stunts, I will discover who are the strong contenders 'coz looks can be deceptive.
