PINKVILLA EXCLUSIVE: “The ones who play politics and cry on camera such as Rochelle & Mandana get attention from public and their votes” – Puneet Vashisht
We caught up with ousted Bigg Boss 9 contestant Puneet Vashisht for a tête-à-tête about his experience in the show. Disappointed with his untimely exit, Puneet blamed the politics inside the BB house.
“Bahot politics hoti hai andar…aur main jivan mein kabhi bhi politics ka hissa raha nahin hun. And whatever happens bitching and politics happens in the house only that is shown to the public. But, I have not done anything nasty during my tenure. When the housemates would wake up to a song in the morning, I would show my God-gifted dance moves. I wonder whether my dances were telecast in the show or not,” said Puneet to Pinkvilla.com.
Speaking further about antagonism and negativity in the show that stopped him from opening up, Puneet said, “There is an institution where I am currently teaching acting, but inside BB house, I could not hold on to the camera and perform a scene. There was so much politics around me.”
Despite all that, the Josh actor is out with his takeaways which he is proud of. “The good thing is that, I understood the importance of all small and big things in life which are taken for granted. Aur bahot jaldi bahar aagaya to isme main apni jeet manta hun. I was sent as a wild card contestant and I went there with a calm mind and wished to be so during my stay. I got a chance to understand myself on a different platform. So, I am very happy about my BB journey. I am not at all shocked that I have been evicted,” stated Puneet.
He even mentioned that the undeserving contestants that are spreading negativity around are getting all the attention. “The ones who play politics and cry on camera such as Rochelle and Mandana get attention from public and their votes as well. So, I don’t want to become a part of such a show,” said he.
On a concluding note, Puneet said that he wants Aman Verma to win the show. “Aman genuinely deserves to be the winner,” quoted Puneet to Pinkvilla.com
