Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai : Jasmeet honest with Kaki about ring; Rashmi skips engagement
Jasmeet is unhappy with the ring chosen for her by the Maheshwari family but her family makes her understand that she needs to learn to compromise. Akshara calls up Naitik and they share a romantic chit-chat. Anshu asks Akshara and Varsha to talk to Kaki about the ring. Muskaan helps Naitik with a lose button of his sherwani although he is reluctant to take her help. Jasmeet is unhappy with her engagement party and rants about having fake mehendi, a pimple on her face and a ring that she does not like but her parents comfort her by telling her that at least the groom is of her choice. Jasmeet’s father asks a relative to stop drinking as the Maheshwari would arrive soon when the Maheshwaris walk in. The relative hides the bottle under the seating arrangement but a coin slips under it and when Naksh tries to find it, the bottle rolls out shocking everyone.
However Akshara and Varsha handle the situation by talking about how such colourful bottles can be used as a pot for money plants. The Singhanias also arrive and Naitik enters the party with Naman. The Singhanias are upset that Rashmi has not come for the engagement but Bauji asks the ladies to let it be as they cannot stall the engagement because of her. Jasmeet talks to Kaki about the ring not being to her liking as she wishes to share a real mother-daughter relationship with her while Akshara and Naitik stand in her corner. Kaki is hurt.
In the upcoming episode, Rajshri calls up Rashmi’s house while Rashmi tells Akshara that as they no longer have any relationship between them, there is no relationship between her and Akshara’s maternal family too. Will Akshara be able to patch things up between Rashmi and the Singhanias? And will Jasmeet’s honest confession put her and Anshu’s marriage in trouble?
