From trouble in Raj Singh and Pooja Gor's relationship to Ganesh celebrations; top TV Newsmakers of the week

This week marked an auspicious start with Ganesh Chaturthi commencing. Many Television actors including Arjun Bijlani, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Kanchi Singh, Sharad Malhotra, among others welcomed Baapaa at their homes. Not just that Rajan Shahi, who is in the happiest phase right now, brought Baapaa on the sets of his two popular shows, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. Not just that, reports suggested that Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora's relationship is also going through a rough phase. As the week comes to an end, here are the top five TV Newsmakers of the week:

1. TV actors celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi:

Among others, television celebrities such as Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Arjun Bijlani, Shaheer Sheikh, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi took to their social media handles to share photos and videos giving their fans a sneak peek of how they are celebrating Ganpati Bappa’s birthday. The posts are so joyous and colourful that they will make you want to wish you could join them. During the 10 day long festival, devotees bring an idol of Lord Ganesha home and keep a fast, pray and prepare his favourite sweets, which are Modaks and Laddus. It is also believed that when Ganpati ji is staying at our house, a member of the family should always keep him company. On the last day, the idol is carried over to a water body and Bappa is immersed in it. He then reunites with his parents Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati at Mount Kailash.

2. Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora's relationship hit rock bottom:

Television couple Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora have been in a relationship since nine long years. The two have been extremely vocal about their love on social media ever since, however, recently Pooja and Raj seem to have a little tiff going on in their relationship. The love-birds have stopped showering love on each other on social media and have not been posting their pictures together for a while. On speaking to Pooja, she rubbished the rumours saying very relationship goes through a rough time and fights are normal and that does not mean that they are not together. Raj, on the other hand, did not comment on the issue at all.

3. Amit Tandon and wife Ruby are back together:

Actor-singer Amit Tandon and wife Ruby Tandon's marriage had hit a rough patch back in time and ever since 2017. the two were living separately. In fact, they had also filed for a divorce, however, looks like things are now back to being hail and hearty as they have now decided to cancel the divorce proceedings. The actor, who owes his career to Indian Idol, met wife Ruby, a dermatologist by profession, through social media.Ruby and Amit had announced their separation in 2017, the same year when Ruby was held in remand at Al Raffa jail post a complaint against her from the Dubai Health Authority for threatening some government officials. When she returned after serving 10 months jail term in January, the divorce was put on hold as they wanted to give their marriage a second thought. Amit told India-Forums, “Yes, we are back together. Our child is happy, we are happy. Everything’s in a good and positive space right now.”

4. Pavitra Rishta Cast Reunion at Ankita Lokhande's Ganesh celebrations:

Ganpati is supposed to be a time when everyone socializes and makes sure to visit their near and dear ones to keep up with the festivities. And, when someone keeps Ganpati at home, it is also mandatory to visit them and make sure friends and family are a part of it too. And hence, Ankita Lokhande welcomed visitors at home and her Ganpati celebrations gave way for a Pavitra Rishta reunion as co-stars visited her. Present at her apartment were the likes of Savita Prabhune, Shalini Arora, Mishthi Tyagi, and many others. Also joining her today were her friends Rashami Desai, Neha Swami, and many others and from what she shared on her stories, it was a fun day. We are sure this left the fans pretty excited. 

5. Tejasswi Prakash making an exit from Khatron ke Khiladi; top 3 contestants revealed

Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 has hit the headlines once again as Tejasswi Prakash has suffered an eye hemorrhage and so, she had no other option but to quit the show after reaching the top 6. We got in touch with Tejasswi, and talking about the injury, she said, "So yes, I can't tell you a lot of details about the stunt but I've got a severe injury and l have been asked to take rest now. I was hoping to reach the top 3 given my track record, but at the same time, I am glad I never aborted any stunt and managed to do well in all of them." Also, Karishma, Karan, Shivin, Balraj Sayal were revealed to be the top 4 contestants for the show. A source informs, “Shivin, who played pretty well in the show, has been eliminated leaving Karishma, Balraj and Karan in top 3. The contestants will return to India on the 9th of this month.”
