Krishna tells Arjuna that the moment he is able to connect with his soul, he too would become one with the almighty and for that it is necessary that he submit himself completely to Krishna which is called Bhakti. Arjuna then asks if all Bhakti is the same but Krishna explains to him that we become like the one we submit too and hence not all Bhakti is the same, citing the example of Mitra Bhakti that Karna feels for Duryodhana.

He tells Arjuna that with Bhakti, one is able to attain true knowledge of the almighty and its all encompassing nature and its through the body that the soul is able to attain experiences and knowledge. Arjuna raises doubt that if this is the case, then would killing the body of their enemies rob them of these teachings of life but Krishna explains that there is only till a certain extent that evil doing should be tolerated and beyond that it must be destroyed.

He tells Arjuna that the soul diminishes tamas and increases sattva and connects to the almighty and complete submission is only a step towards this and that it is necessary that one keeps reminding themselves of this submission.

They discuss the concept of ‘sarva guni sampati’ and that it is only through the adoption of all the gunas enlisted under it that one is able to identify with the almighty. Arjuna recounts all that Krishna has taught him and requests him to show him his ‘vyastivik roop’ and Krishna grants his request, telling him that achieving this knowledge of his ‘vishwaroop’ is actually achieving ‘vyastivik gyaan’ which is what helps in attaining mukti.

The upcoming episode will see Arjuna promising Krishna that he will follow his every word and the battle of Kurukshetra will begin.
