Every year Television shows and celebrities are appreciated and are spoken about at award functions, they are given awards for their spectacular performances and the makers are given credits for coming up with such amazing concepts and ideas.

But something that matters to them more than anything at all which is way more important than an award function jury is the audience. The audience is the king and they decide the fate of a show. So clearly even in 2017, the audiences have loved some shows and ranked them in the top 10 throughout the year. Television shows are a major source of influence to viewers and have a large impact on the people watching it.

How can a show hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan not make it to top 10? KBC has been that one TV show that gets the entire family together on the dining table and well either for general knowledge or for a fun family time, KBC is, was and will always be a hit show on TV.

Ishqbaaaz

Star Plus’ Ishqbaaaz starring Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna is doing exceedingly well, with great feedback, reviews and now has even swept quite a few awards. The show revolves around the three brothers and their road from becoming the epitome of Ishqbaaaz (lovers). Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna have literally swept all the best onscreen Jodi awards this year, thanks to their crackling on-screen chemistry. Apart from that, it is the grandeur of the show and its ability to break stereotypical plots that manage to attract audience. 

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

This one had to be on the list, the show has been running for the past 8 years and we wonder how the makers still manage to make the show be on top of its game. With Hina Khan's exit, it is Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan who continue to strike a chord with the audience as Karthik and Naira. Their love story and never-ending family drama have managed to keep the audiences hooked. 

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel have won our hearts with the show, and it seems to be very near and dear to fans and viewers. The several twists and turns in the show never seem to disappoint the fans and the unprecedented popularity of the lead actors is just a plus. 

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs

The reality singing show has been one of the oldest reality shows and has actually been the reason behind voices like Sunidhi Chauhan and a lot of famous singers today. The umpteen talent of the child artists on the show even forced the makers to extend their period and well, no one is complaining. 

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi

Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandez’s show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi made fans crazy about the show and it has become one of the most talked about shows, but when the show came to an end, the makers had to come with another season on high public demand. The frenzy around Shaheer and Erica's onscreen chemistry is immense and the show managed to break stereotypes with every track. 

Kundali Bhagya

Kundali Bhagya has created a huge fan following for itself and has done exceptionally well, whether public opinion or the TRP charts, Kundali Bhagya seems to be everywhere. The spin off starring Dheeraj Dhooper and Shraddha Arya refuses to budge from the top slot and rightly so. 

Bigg Boss 11

When has controversy or drama ever failed to entertain the audience? And what entertains the audience goes on to become a hit. With every day the Bigg Boss 11 contestants making headline, this show definitely had to be a part of the top 10 TV shows of 2017.

Beyhadh

Indian Television had never come across a story more unique than Beyhadh. The Jennifer Wingetstarrer Beyhadh created a huge buzz and fans went crazy to see their favourite actress play a character like Maya. Maya as the completely lethal, obsessive lover will continue to remain one of the most unique and remembered characters on Television.

Kumkum Bhagya

Kumkum Bhagya has been running on Indian Television for many years now and what is astonishing is that the show has been dethroned from the top 10 TRP list. The story revolving around Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha manages to hook the TV audience even today.
