Jodha Akbar : Nigaar runs away, Jalal distraught
In Zee TV’s ‘Jodha Akbar’, Shahnaz whose real identity as Nigaar has now been revealed holds Rahim at ransom and makes her escape from the palace. Jodha asks him to send the guards after her as he must first save Todar. Todarmal is just about to be hanged when Jalal saves him and apologizes for his mistake. Jodha also apologizes but Todarmal and his wife forgive both of them as they had been misled. Jalal then decides to go after Nigaar with Todarmal accompanying him. Meanwhile Mahachuchak remembers a conversation she had with Hamida in the past regarding her claim to the throne as she stands in front of Humayun’s portrait. She recalls how Hamida had told her that it was by fate that Jalal was elder than Mirza and hence would get the throne. She states that she will now attack Agra and take over Jalal’s kingdom.
Adham Khan comes to Maha Manga and tells her about Shahnaaz’s true identity being revealed and taunts her about being completely aloof. Maha Manga shares her fears of her involvement with the entire conspiracy being caught by Jalal and wishes that he is never able to find Shahnaaz/Nigaar. Jalal reaches a secluded spot in the forest alone as he has left his soldiers behind and calls out for Nigaar. Mahachuchak’s soldiers spring a surprise attack on him just as Nigaar comes out. She tells him that she is now announcing a war against him and asks the soldiers to attack him. However Jalal is able to fight them off and he is soon joined by his soldiers and Todarmal. Nigaar escapes and Jalal is distraught but realizes that Nigaar’s goons were well trained. He asks Atgah to find her and bring her to him but to take care that he causes her no harm. Mahachuchak is informed about her soldiers having met Nigaar and that her army shall soon reach Agra. She is pleased with the development.
Jalal shares his feelings with Jodha and tells her how he had always wanted an elder sibling but now that he has one, she hates him. Jodha apologizes to him for not recognizing Nigaar earlier but Jalal asks her to not do so as everyone was misled. They realize that somebody must be exploiting Nigaar. Salime joins them and raises the possibility of Chand Begum being alive. Jalal agrees with her assessment and asks everyone to assemble in the court.
In the upcoming episode, Jalal orders for Chang Begum to be found by nightfall. At night, Jalal and his ministers reach a secret place in the forest. Will Chand Begum be found? Will Jalal and Jodha be able to convince Shahnaz of Jalal’s innocence?
