Jodha Akbar : Jodha pregnant; hides news from Jalal
In Zee TV's 'Jodha Akbar', Jodha tells Jalal that she has prayed for him to win the war and Nigaar's heart and Jalal is thankful that Jodha is by his side. Maha Manga tries to dissuade the women from accompanying the men in the war but Rukkaiya makes it clear that this is Jalal's wish as he fears that the palace may be attacked in his absence. Nigaar has a nightmare and wakes up scared but Mahachuchak asks her to concentrate on the war and on defeating Jalal. Jodha feels dizzy and when the doctor is called, its revealed that Jodha is pregnant. Jodha is ecstatic but decides to hide the news from Jalal until after the war as she wants to be his strength and not his weakness. Just then Jodha is informed that Bakshi wants to accompany Jalal on the war even though she is in last stage of her pregnancy. Jodha asks Moti to go to Jalal and request him to stop Bakshi.
Jodha and Jalal convince Bakshi to drop her decision as travelling during pregnancy can be dangerous, specially during the first 3 and the last 3 months. Hearing this Jodha is lost in thoughts of her own child but decides that the empire needs a strong king and she cannot reveal to Jalal about her pregnancy. Jodha prays to Kanha that he protect the Mughal empire. Meanwhile Adham is angry with Maha Manga as she had promised him an escape from going to the battlefield but she tells him that when Akbar is taking everyone with him, he cannot be excused. Jodha and Jalal talk to each other in their minds where Jalal admits that he would not have gone to war had he known Jodha was pregnant and even if she tries to hide things, their relation is such that he gets to know while Jodha thinks she did whatever she did for the empire.
Mali informs Nigaar about the Mughal women accompanying Jalal on the war and she decides that she will capture them and put them in the prison just like Jalal did with her mother.
In the upcoming episode, Jodha feels like vomiting but tries to ignore it as she fears Jalal would get to know the truth if she did. But is Jalal already aware of Jodha's pregnancy? What will his reaction be?
