Jodha Akbar : Jalal becomes ‘Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar’
Jodha chides Jalal for talking in such a way in front of children and asks Zakira to take Rahim to Salima. Jalal continues to tease Jodha and they share some cute moments. Meanwhile, Shehnaz is seen writing a letter to a person who will help her against Jalal as per the voice-over.
Atgah informs the court that on this day, Jalal won the war against Hemu and therefore Salima will place the crown on his head once again. Salima is sad as she places the crown on Jalal’s head and she remembers Bairam Khan. Jalal too is emotional and is remembering his ‘Khan Baba’ and talks about how he would have never won had it not been for his guidance. In order to commemorate the day, he asks for his people to assemble as he wants to celebrate it with everyone.
As everyone gets ready for the celebrations, Shehnaz promises herself that she will take the throne from Jalal as soon as the help she had asked for arrives while someone riding on a horse through the jungles is shown.
Jalal greets the ladies but is cold towards Rukkaiya. He is informed of the special coin that Jodha has gotten made which has ‘Kalma’ written on one side and has ‘Bhagwan’ on the other. Jalal is thankful to Jodha for this special gift.
Jalal asks the coins to be distributed to the people but on seeing them getting upset at having ‘Bhagwan’ on one side of the coin, he tells them how all religion are one. A group of people come forward and hand a paper to Jalal on which ‘Akbar’ is written and present him with the title of ‘Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar’ for all his good work as their emperor. Everyone chants this title and Jalal promises to work even harder for the welfare of his people.
The upcoming episodes will see some romantic moments between Jodha and Akbar as she calls him by his name for the first time.
