Jodha Akbar : Todarmal to be hanged?
In Zee TV's 'Jodha Akbar', Jalal is confused about what decision he should take regarding the Todarmal-Shahnaz issue, specially since Jodha is taking Shahnaz's side, and shares his feelings with Hamida who asks him to trust the king within him as he always takes wise decisions. Next day in court, Jalal asks for advice from the people who are of the opinion that Todarmal has indeed raped Shahnaz and while he has no proof of his innocence, Jodha has proof against him and hence he should be punished. Jalal announces his decision where he holds Todarmal guilty as he has no proof of his innocence and states that he must be hanged to death. He asks Atgah to ask Todarmal his last wish.
Shahnaz is pleased with the decision and in flashback it is shown how Todarmal had confronted her about her wrongdoings and told her that he would have her punished but she had thought up of this plan to save herself and also her secret. Maha Manga praises Shahnaz for her plan and advises her to go somewhere safe but she declines and states that she is waiting for Mahachuchak and her forces so that they can together take on Jalal. Meanwhile Beg gives a stamp to Mahachuchak and tells her that she can use it when she becomes the queen of Agra. She states that her forces will now start their march towards Agra.
Todarmal's wife comes to meet Jodha and tells her that she has gotten fooled by Shahnaz. She tells Jodha that she will stay by Todarmal's side till the very end. Jodha is confused and feels that she may have done something wrong. There is a huge storm and she takes it as a bad omen. Meanwhile Jalal too is feeling guilty and pained. Jodha and Jalal meet and Jalal berates her for having made him aware of his heart because now he feels pain and guilt unlike his earlier self.
In the upcoming episode, Jodha will slap Shahnaz who will get angry. Will Shahnaz's secret finally be revealed in front of Jodha and will Todarmal get saved?
