All thanks to Salman, here are the Bigg Boss contestants who made it to Bollywood!

The much-awaited reality show, Bigg Boss 10 is all set to be aired this week on October 16, 2016. Salman Khan, who has been hosting the show for last five seasons is back with a bang. With the variations of contestants, we got to see in previous seasons, many of them forayed into Bollywood all thanks to Salman.

Let's take a look at some of the contestants who made it to Bollywood with the help of the superstar.

Ashmit Patel

Ashmit Patel was seen in the fourth season of the show. The actor was known for his controversial and alleged love affair with fellow contestant Veena Mallik. After his stint in the show. Ashmit was seen in Sohal Khan directorial Jai Ho, where Salman was the lead.

Maheck Chahal

Ashmit's girlfriend Maheck Chahal was seen in the fifth season and had also appeared in Bigg Boss Halla Bol last year. She had an appearance in 2009 release Wanted, where she danced on Le Le Mazaa Le alongside Salman. Though this was before her stint in BB, in the house, she was criticised for getting a lot of support from Salman.

Sunny Leone

When Sunny entered as a wild card entry in Bigg Boss 5, many had no idea about who she was. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt entered Bigg Boss house to offer Sunny the lead role in Jism 2. According to some sources, Salman recommended Sunny's name to Bhatt saab. This was one of a kind stint, where a contestant was offered a film.

Sana Khaan

Sana made it to the top three in Bigg Boss 6. She gained immense popularity from the show. Moreover, she was seen in a negative role in Salman's film Jai Ho. Now, she is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Wajah Tum Ho.

Elli Avram

Before her debut film, Mickey Virus was released, Elli became a household name with her stint in Bigg Boss 7. She has been spotted several times at parties hosted by Salman Khan at his home. The Sultan actor evidently flirted with the Swedish beauty on the show. She was last seen in Kapil Sharma's debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.

Armaan Kohli

Armaan Kohli was famous for his role as a Naag in Jaani Dushman. He vanished from the big screen soon and made a comeback with Bigg Boss 7. His stint was very controversial in the show due to his link-up with Tanishaa Mukerji. Later on, he made a comeback in Bollywood with Salman's 2015 blockbuster hit Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The actor played a negative role in the film.

Aarya Babbar

Aarya Babbar was seen in Bigg Boss 8 and was eliminated soon within eight weeks. He, later on, worked in 2015 release Bangistan, where Salman's close friend Pulkit Samrat played the lead along with Riteish Deshmukh.

Vikas Bhalla

The actor-singer sang hit song Po Po from Son of Sardar. He was seen in Bigg Boss 9 and was eliminated early on Day 21. Vikas was seen in 2014 release Jai Ho. Due to his close association with Salman, the actor was seen in the Bigg Boss house.

Santosh Shukla

Bigg Boss 6 contestant Santosh, had a major role in Sohail Khan's Jai Ho. Reports have it, Salman himself trained Santosh and geared him for his stint in the film.
