5 reasons why you should be excited for Naagin 2!

Naagin 2 is all set to kickstart its second season on Indian TV on October 8, 2016. The supernatural thriller, based on the life of a Naagin and its struggle to protect the naagmani from the clutches of evil forces, forms the crux of the story. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the season two will have Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Karanvir Bohra, Aashka Goradia and Sudha Chandran in the key roles.

Naagin (season 1) was one of the highest rated shows on Indian television and won numerous awards.It revolved around Sesha and Shivanya, two Ichchhadhari Naagins, who avenge their parent's death. The show garnered massive appreciation owing to its different subject and the scintillating lead pair, Arjun Bijlani and Mouni aka Rithvik and Shivanya. The show ended on a note where Rithvik -Shivanya manages to protect the naagmani from the sinister elements and finally the two are blessed with a girl child.

The season takes forward from where the story ended in the first part, Naagin 2 will see Mouni essay the role of Shivanya and her daughter.

Mouni Roy in a double role! 

Mouni redefined hotness with her role as a Naagin. From chiffon sarees to Naagin attires, the woman not only looked gorgeous but stole the thunder with her power packed performance. In part 2, we will see twice the magic of Mouni, in the role of both mother and daughter, Shivanya and Shivangi. Double whammy! 

Mouni-Karanvir's sizzling chemistry! 

While in part one Arjun-Mouni oh-so-hot chemistry set the screen ablaze, for part two, we will get to see Mouni with Karanvir Bohra's pairing. We hope they recreate the same magic!

Stunning VFX! 

It's rare to see a show on the Indian TV, heavily laden with VFX. The special effects are the backbone of this supernatural series, which help character transfer from the snakes to mongoose and what not! 

A twisted storyline, full of suspense and thrilling elements!

The previous storyline was full of twists and turns and surprise elements. From Sudha Chandran and Adaa Khan characters turning negative from positive and Arjun aka Rithvik's father turning out to be the forbidden king - the story was nonetheless than a B-wood film in terms of masala genre.

Twice as evil! 

This time, both Sudha-Adaa will join hands. Reportedly, Aashka's character will also have grey shades. And the new season may introduce more villainous characters too. Twice as evil, or more... time will tell!
