EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 12: Contestants have more reasons to be bitchy in the BEACH themed house; SEE INSIDE PICS

One of the most popular and controversial show Bigg Boss is back with season 12. Every year some celebrities and commoners stay in the Bigg Boss house for 3 months. Bigg Boss 12 that airs from today on Colors will be hosted by Salman Khan as usual. Bigg Boss 11 had a lot of sparks and controversies and the audience is expecting the same from the upcoming season. Last year, Shilpa Shinde was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 11 and Hina Khan and Vikas Gupta were the first and second runner-ups. 

This year, the concept of the show is quite interesting and different from the earlier seasons. Some contestants will enter as pairs in the BB house while some will play the game alone. There will be tasks, competition and much-required drama which the audience enjoy watching. Actors like Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar, Srishty Rode, Anup Jalota and Neha Pendse are some of the celebs who will be entering the house. Bharti Singh will enter as a pair with her husband Haarsh Limbaachiyaa though there is a big question mark over their participation as recent reports suggest that they won’t be participating . A lot of commoners in the house too will be seen as pairs. These pairs won't be just couples, they can be saas-bahu, Maama-bhanja and even boss-peon.

As the concept of the show is so unique, this year the Bigg Boss house is also designed in a unique way. The theme of the Bigg Boss this year is 'BEACH'. From the activity room to the washrooms, everything is set in a way that it gives a beach house feeling. The house is designed by ace designer Omung Kumar.

I personally got to spend an hour inside the Bigg Boss house and here's what the house looks like:

The garden area

 
The name 'BIGG BOSS' is placed on colourful surfboards outside the house. In fact, such surfboards are placed even in the activity room.

The garden area is the place where contestants perform all their tasks. Instead of normal chairs, the garden area has white beach chairs placed along with umbrella-shaped beach cabanas. The direction arrows placed in the garden has a wooden fish placed on the top.

The entrance:

The right wall at the entrance of the house has 'BEACH" written and below it some sea shells are corals are placed inside a wall carving that has a shape of a fish. The wall is coloured in pearl shade and has starfish structures in between the text.
 

Activity room:

Activity room is the room where the contestants interact with Salman Khan. It is also a place where the captain of the house announces weekly tasks to the housemates. The wall where the TV is placed is completely engraved with seashells of all the sizes and the Tv set is placed exactly in the centre of huge round mirrors.

The sofa in the activity room has a vibrant yellow colour and it is in a shape of a curve. Omung Kumar mentioned during an interaction that he purposely kept the sofa in yellow colour as it will remind the contestants of the sun on the beach.

The ceiling in the house and activity room has cute fishes and starfish structures dangling. The huge pillar in the house is decorated like trees. Omung Kumar said that the light of the house will keep changing as the day passes by.

The Kitchen and the dining table

Kitchen is the place where contestants eat food and also drain their energy by indulging in fights. Season 11 showed us some interesting and hilarious kitchen fights. The kitchen table has a shape of a boat and the dining table this time is circular. The dining table has a sea stone or gemstone texture on one part and the other part has a sand texture. It will give the contestants a feel as if they are eating their food on a beach. The walls of the kitchen are also decorated keeping the beach theme in mind. 

Bedroom

The bedroom is designed like a submarine, thus the contestants will get an underwater feeling. The beds are blue in colour and the walls are wooden with mirrors in a shape of those seen in underwater boats. There are also fish painting on the upper wall of the bedroom which makes it looks like an aquarium too. As contestants will enter the house in pairs, there are some beds which are bigger in size as that of a double bed.

Confession room

The confession room is the place where housemates nominate co-contestants for the elimination. Some also cry and whine to the Bigg Boss while many get pulled by the Bigg Boss too for their wrong behaviour and  for disrespecting the rules in the house. The Confession room has a feel of a Bohemian tent and the lights will only add tension in the minds of the housemates.

The Jail

The only place that is still the same is the jail area. The jail area has three beds and a TV set. The beds are white and the walls are painted brown. The jail area has nothing related to a beach and thus, whoever will be sent to the jail during their stay in the house will feel like they are staying inside a real jail.

Washrooms

Even the washroom looks like a beach. The walls have sea shells placed on the walls.
