S Sreesanth is one celebrity contestant who has managed to garner attention from the first day inside the house. It all started with a fight with Somi Khan and Saba Khan which followed with the cricketer turned actor threatening to leave the house. He was criticized for questioning Khan Sisters' upbringing. He also had a tough time dealing with housemates after he didn’t complete the first task which led to the Bigg Boss cancelling it. Later in the week, Sreesanth got into a brawl with Shivashish during the captaincy task.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan, the host took his case and Sreesanth was seen crying and also apologising. In the last episode of Bigg Boss 12, the housemates were given a task by Varun Dhawan who was on the sets to promote his upcoming film Sui Dhaaga: Made In India. The jodis won the task and when Salman Khan asked the worst performer of the task, with mutual consent, everyone took Sree’s name.
As a punishment, Sreesanth received Topo Ki Salaami, which was also given to a few contestants during the Bigg Boss premiere. The cricketer was made to put his face inside the tanker’s head, which blasted with coal, thus, blackening his face. While this was just a part of the game, it didn’t go down too well with fans on social media. Twitter was filled with tweets in support of Sreesanth with #SreesanthDeservesRespect. His fans have been criticising Bigg Boss makers for disrespecting the former cricketer who once brought laurels for the country.
