Bigg Boss 12 premiere Highlights: Anup Jalota’s relationship; Karanvir's entry, Dipika's emotional goodbye

Bigg Boss 12 finally premiered tonight with Salman Khan returning as the host for the ninth time. The final contestant lists for the season includes Karanvir Bohra, Shivashish Mishra, Sourabh Patel, Dipika Kakar, Romil Chaudhary, Nirmal Singh, Neha Pendse, Anup Jatola, Jasleen Matharu, Somi Khan, Saba Khan, Srishty Rode, Deepak Thakur, fan Urvashi Vaani, Roshmi Banik, Kirti Verma, S Sreesanth, Surbhi Rana, Mithal Joshi. The drama ensues on the first day itself but before we brace ourselves for the first day tomorrow, here's the highlight from the premiere episode. 

The premiere episode began with a bang with a swag-istic performance by Khan himself who gave us a good tour of the beach-themed house with his performance. Slowly and steadily, Salman introduces the contestants who enter as singles and pairs alternatively and introduced us to the panelists which included Shilpa Shinde, Manveer Gurjar apart from a few journalists. Top ki Salaami was given to the contestants who the panelists felt were the weaklings amongst the singles Vs Jodi pair introduced by the superstar. 

Here are the highlights from the episode:

Karanvir's heroic entry: Television's hero Karanvir finally gave his nod to be a part of the glass walled house. Karan performing Kathak moves to impress Khan and his revelation of carrying 35 different pair of shoes with him inside the house got us ROFLING. On the other hand, his admission of missing his kids made us emotional. 

Dipika's emotional rendezvous with Shoaib Ibrahim: Television bahu aka Simar aka Dipika Kakar gets emotional as husband Shoaib bids adieu to her with an emotional poem. Their sweet chemistry definitely left everyone emotional including Shilpa Shinde.

Anup Jatola and Jasleen Matharu's love story revelation: Anup Jatola and Jasleen Matharu entered as lovebirds inside the house. Anup and Jasleen have a huge age difference between them while Anup is 65 years old, Jasleen is 28 years old. Their revelation on their relationships left everyone shocked. 

Rubina Dilaik's sizzling performance: Shakti Astiva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress Rubina Dilaik sizzled on the dance floor as she accompanied best friend Srishty Rode as the latter enters the house. We were left gawking looking at her sizzle.

Eliminations: This is for the first time that two contestants were eliminated on the first itself. The voting veto was given to the audience and a new pair was formed based on the votes. Mithal Joshi and Surbhi Rana were eliminated. 

Sreesanth and wife's emotional exchange: Cricketer Sreesanth's wife broke down on stage as the cricketer was to enter the house. Their emotional encounter will leave you gutted.
