Bigg Boss 12: Not Dipika Kakar or Karanvir Bohra but THIS contestant is the highest paid contestant; FIND OUT
Indian singer Anup Jalota is the highest paid contestant on Bigg Boss 12 followed by Karanvir Bohra and Dipika Kakar. Read below to find out how much Jalota is earning per week inside the BB 12 house.
While we were still basking in the controversial glory of Bigg Boss 11 with Shilpa Shinde beating her arch nemesis Hina Khan and being crowned the winner, Bigg Boss 12 has reached its premiere date. That's right! Tonight, Salman Khan will welcome us for the 12th season of the reality show which has become a guilty pleasure for one and all. Just like last year, BB 12 promises to be tadakta-badakta with celebrities and commoners and the theme for this year is 'Vichitra Jodis'.
During the BB 12 launch in Goa, Salman had introduced the first two confirmed contestants that were the funny couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. Along with them, we will also be seeing Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, S Sreesanth and Anup Jalota. While reports suggested that Dipika, who rose to fame with Sasural Simar Ka, was the highest paid contestant, such is not the case. According to Bollywood Life, it is Jalota who is the highest paid as the Indian singer is raking in a staggering Rs 45 lakh per week.
The reason why Anup is getting such a big amount is that the channel wants the elders to be glued to their television screens as youngsters would prefer watching Bigg Boss 12 on the net. After Jalota, it is Naagin 2 actor Karanvir who is getting paid the most with Rs 20 lakh per week. Dipika rounds the top 3 highest paid contestants for BB 12 with Rs 15 lakh per week. This is double of what BB 11 contestant Hina was paid i.e. Rs 7.5 lakh.
