Bigg Boss 12 is back with all the fun, controversies and drama. This year’s vichitra jodi theme is sure to keep the viewers hooked. While all the contestants present in the house have a history of their own, it is Anup Jalota’s relationships which has the tongues wagging. The bhajan singer is currently in a relationship with his student, Jasleen Matharu. However, there is more to it. Anup was married thrice before falling for Jasleen. So, as we talk, let’s take a glance who were his wives and what happened to them.
The ‘Aisee Lagi Lagan’ bhajan gayak Anup Jalota’s first marriage was a love marriage with a Gujarati girl, Sonali Seth. Though their relationship got the approval of his family, the duo married and also teamed up professionally, popularly known as ‘Anup and Sonali Jalota’ in the concert circuit. But things didn’t work out and the couple got divorced, post which Sonali married Roop Kumar Rathod.
After an unsuccessful love marriage, Anup went for an arranged marriage with Bina Bhatia. This marriage also ended in divorce.
The Bhajan Samrat then went on to marry for the third time. Anup tied the knot once again with Medha Gujral, niece of former Indian Prime Minister I. K. Gujral. This union sailed smoothly and they gave birth to a son, named Aryaman. Sadly, Anup lost his wife Medha to a deadly disease in 2014. Medha passed away due to liver failure following a prolonged illness.
Post Medha's death Padma Shri Anup Jalota met Jasleen Matharu. They are said to be dating each other for the last three years.
Currently, both of them are one of the most controversial contestants inside Bigg Boss house.
