Bigg Boss 12: Here's why Dipika Kakar's dreams of becoming an international air hostess came crashing down

Bigg Boss 12 premiered on Sunday and the contestants are already in their competitive avatars ready to pack a punch and battle it out to reach the finale. While Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu's relationship is currently hogging the limelight, Sasural Simar Ka fame Dipika Kakar is making use of her good girl personality and gelling well with everyone. One of the contestants who Dipika became quick friends with was businessman Shivashish Mishra. The actress got candid about her journey of being an air hostess before venturing into the world of acting.

Dipika spoke about how her father was a part of the army and hence her family and she travelled a lot. After her father retired from the army, the actress' family settled in Pune. 4-5 years later, Dipika shifted base to Mumbai and became an air hostess. "I always wanted to become an air hostess, which I became," Dipika stated. However, Dipika also revealed that her dreams of becoming an international air hostess came crashing down because of health issues.

Well, Dipika's dreams of becoming an international air hostess may not have come true but then, she went on to become a popular television personality instead. That is quite an impressive feat, indeed!

Before Dipika entered the Bigg Boss 12 house, her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim accompanied her at the premiere episode. After his wife entered, the actor shared some lovely words for his ladylove on Instagram. Shoaib wrote, "Yes Dipi, you are a strong lady, I know there will be good times and there will be tough times too, but I know too, that you will sail well! And always remember, whatever be it, your FFFs, Family, Friends and Fan-Family, hamesha tumhare saath hai!"
