Karanvir and Teejay’s first meeting was in a church through model Anupama Chopra who is a common friend. It was an experience of love at first sight for both of them. Their bond has grown stronger by the day. He loves her truly and that's quite in the appearances they make together. Teejay has been a strong influence on his life and he has said in many interviews that since they've been together, he has grown to be a prominent face on television.
After about 10 years of being married, Teejay and Karanvir announced that they were expecting their first child together, and fans couldn't be happier.
