Deepak Thakur was born on 24 March 1994 in Bihar.
Deepak Thakur is from Athar village of Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.
His father Pankaj Thakur is a farmer and mother is a homemaker. Deepak also has a brother, Saket Thakur and two sisters Jyoti Thakur and Deepika Thakur.
He got is first big break at the age of 14 in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur. He has also sung for the film's sequel.
Deepak got another singing opportunity in Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz. The Bihari boy sang a track titled Adhura Main.
Before making his mark in Bollywood, Deepak used to sing at weddings and small ceremonies.
He also has his own YouTube channel 'DEEPAK THAKUR' where he shares his singing videos.
