Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2019 route: Here's everything you need to know about the national holiday
Here is everything you need to know about the annual holiday celebrated in the United States.
Thanksgiving is now an annual tradition in the United States of America. This year around, it will be celebrated on Thursday, November 28 and will begin from the West of 77th Street and Central Park West in New York City. The parade is set to begin at 9 am ET and will go through Midtown Manhattan.
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Parade Route:
The 93th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will start on the west side of Central Park near the American Museum of Natural History at West 77th Street and West Central Park. It will then travel South until Columbus Circle and then go on to proceed to East on Central Park South. Once the parade reaches 6th Avenue, it will travel towards 34th street and Macy's flagship store in Herald Square.
The weather report predicts that the day will be sunny but windy. There will also be a list of celebrities who will appear on top of the parade floats. Billy Porter, Celine Dion, The Black Eyed Peas, Ciara, Idina Menzel, Lea Michele, and more. There will also be 11 marching bands who will be performing in the 2019 parade.

There are around 30 balloons and floats that are set to make an appearance this year for the parade. There are also new entrants including Green eggs, Astronaut Snoopy, Smokey bear, Spongebob Squarepants, and Gary & Love Flies Up to the Sky. The new additions in the feature floats include New York Life's Toy House of Marvelous Milestones, Home Sweet Home, Nickelodeon's Blue's Clues & You and The LEGO Group Brick Changer.
