April Fool’s Day Facts: Find out the origin and why this day is celebrated

For everyone, April 1 is the April Fool's Day. On this day, a lot of people prank on their friends, family and joke around and try to fool each other. It's all fun and joy on this day. Those who fall for this pranks and jokes are called as April Fools. 

April Fools Day began in 1953 when Pope Gregory XIII introduced the Gregorian calendar. This Gregorian calendar mentioned that new calendar starts from January 1 and not March end. Until then, they used to celebrate New Year at the March end at that time.

But a lot of people refused t believe the new calendar and kept celebrating New Year's Day in April. Hence, other people started making fun of those who refused to accept that January 1 is the beginning of the New  Years. 

People started sending 'fool's errands' to those who refused to believe the Gregorian calendar. And thus, April 1 became April Fool's Day.

Well, whatever may be the reason, it's the day where people are in a fun mood. It's a day of laughter, happiness, joke and pranks and everyone enjoys it to the fullest.
