We a nation of high rise complexes, growing IT hubs, intelligent people, and cultural richness, But the grim reality is that even after decades of independence, we have failed to understand on basic habit – keeping our surroundings clean!
Guess we have become used to expect the authorities to do the job which is why we think it is normal to throw the packet of chips or the apple we eat, at public places!
Many of Indians who have been abroad will admit that our western counterparts think it nothing less than a crime to litter in public places. Then why can’t we respect our nation and keep it tidy?
