This Revolutionary Pizza Delivery In Mumbai By A Drone Will Stun You
Mumbai's Francesco's Pizzeria has carried out an innovative experiment for delivering pizzas! It's a first in the country! The outlet had a pizza delivered by an unmanned four-rotor drone! Though it was just a test-delivery, the restaurant is planning to get into it full-fledgedly soon, once they have overcome some of the limitations and technical challenges involved.
Mikhel Rajani, Chief Executive, Francesco's Pizzeria, was quoted as saying, "All of us had read about Amazon's plans of using drones. We successfully carried out a test-delivery by sending a pizza to a customer located 1.5 km away from our outlet on 11th May." He is positive about following it as a regular practice to deliver pizzas through drones in the coming 4-5 years.
