For a poor person who tries hard daily to meet his ends meet, caring for the hunger of another living being except his own family may not be important.
But, who else but a man of God can bear pangs of hunger for another living creature.
Meet Kamala Lochan Baliarsingh, a homeless man living outside Bhubaneshwar’s railway station. He lives by picking useless bottles on the railway platforms. And guess what? He gets paid nothing even for that work.
With no means to support himself, this man goes about foraging empty trains for leftover food. And even that, he does not keep for himself but makes sure to feed his pet stray animals first.
He does not mind sleeping on an empty stomach even if he has to give his share of food to the animals. This great soul is another perfect example of how to live like a true human by practicing selfless love.
