Smriti Irani gives it back to a hater who bullied her daughter for her looks, says I'm proud to be her mom

Union minister and former television actress, who had deleted her daughter's post from her Instagram account due to a certain bully in her class, has now shared a selfie of her daughter with a strong message.

Smriti Irani revealed that she deleted the earlier post because a boy in her daughter's class instigated other boys to make fun of her.

Actress-turned-politician Smriti Irani is not among the one's to take trolls lying down. In a recent post, Smriti Irani took to Instagram to give it back to a hater. Union minister and former television actress, who had deleted her daughter's post from her Instagram account due to a certain bully in her class, has now shared a selfie of her daughter with a strong message this time around. Smriti revealed that she deleted the earlier post because a boy in her daughter's class instigated other boys to make fun of her.

Smriti wrote, "I deleted my daughter’s selfie yesterday coz an idiot bully in her class, A Jha, mocks her for her looks & tells his pals in class to humiliate her for how she looks in her mother’s insta post. My child pleaded with me ‘ Ma please delete it, they are making fun of me’. I obliged coz I could not stand her tears. Then I realised my act just supported the bully .

Smriti's post further read, "So Mr Jha , my daughter is an accomplished sports person, record holder in Limca Books, 2 Nd Dan black belt in Karate, at the World Championships has been awarded bronze medal twice; is a loving daughter and yes damn beautiful. Bully her all you want , she will fight back. She is Zoish Irani and I’m proud to be her Mom." Well, that was indeed an eye-opener on bullying and Smriti addressed it bang on.
