SHOCKING: India vs Foreign country – This video shows how apathetic most Indians can get!

Indians take pride in being more cultured and way better than their foreign counterparts. But is it really so? This video is an honest attempt to show how selfish, neglectful, illiterate and unmindful people who think they have grown enough to buy a car but lack civic sense to allow an emergency vehicle to pass freely.

The video features an ambulance driver in a hurry to fetch a heart attack patient but he finds his van blocked by cars on all sides. On the other hand, there is an ambulance in a developed country that gets a clear way on road by all the vehicle drivers. It takes just 3 seconds for the traffic to give way to the ambulance. However, the ambulance in India had to wait for 13 minutes just to find the owner of the car that had blocked its way. When asked about why people in India don’t make way for an emergency ambulance, the reply was, “They don’t value life. When a tragedy will fall on them, then they will realize what it means to give clearing to the ambulance on duty.”

He also added that if people start giving the “right way” to the ambulance, 10/10 lives can be saved. Is anyone listening?

Think about it - are we so selfish that we won’t budge to save someone’s life in India? This brings us to think why so? May be because we think that since the country is already overpopulated, so it won’t harm if the headcount cuts down anyway. Or, we have become indifferent to calamities and so many deaths happening in the city that it does not matter anymore. Or because we are too engrossed in our own life to care for a fellow being?

Well, whatever the cause of such apathy, we agree with what the driver said. So, it is better to wake up and smell coffee before nature teaches you the lesson the hard way.
