Grammy Awards 2019: Singer Joy Villa rocks the red carpet dressed as Trump’s border wall
At the Grammy Awards 2019, 27-year-old singer Joy Villa rocked the red carpet dressed as Donald Trump’s border wall.
American singer Joy Villa is known for her attention-grabbing red carpet outfits and this singer didn’t disappoint her fans when at the Grammy Awards 2019, Joy Villa made an appearance wearing barbed wire ‘border wall’ dress. That’s right! For all those who have been following Grammy Awards must know that while in 2015, Villa wore a see-through dress made entirely out of orange construction-fencing material, in 2018, Villa wore a white dress with a hand-painted baby inside of a rainbow uterus. And now, in 2019, Joy Villa decided to send shock waves when she scorched the red carpet wearing a low white V-neck gown imitating a white wall.
The 27-year-old singer showed up at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards wearing a border wall-inspired dress along with a red ‘Make America Great Again’ purse. Talking about her latest fashion statement, Joy Villa said that her outfit was a tribute to Donald Trump‘s proposed US-Mexico border wall. Not just this, 27-year-old Joy wore spikes in her hair and speaking with Fox News, she said, “Well to no surprise, I’m still a Trump supporter and supporting the president and what he’s doing. This is my Make America Great Again purse and dress is by Desi Designs Couture, and it represents the wall.”
While we were in awe of her outfit, the gown even had a “Build The Wall” statement in the back. In an early interview, Villa had said that since she grew up doing theatre, therefore, costumes were a significant way to express herself. “It’s an opportunity to show the world who I am on the red carpet, which to me is the same as a stage. I approach it as a show. I want to ‘wow’ people,” she told.
