Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganpati 2018: Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali bid adieu to Bappa
After celebrating the Ganesh Chaturthi festival and seeking blessings from Bappa, celebs are now bidding their portly deity farewell. We spotted Shilpa Shetty Kundra and family as well as Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali saying goodbye to Lord Ganesha. Check out the pictures
It’s the second day of the ten-day extravaganza Ganesh Chaturthi festival and yesterday people across welcomed Bappa abode with much gusto and fervour. Among others who welcomed Bappa, it was celebs who added glitz and glamour to the festival. We bought several pictures to you of how the celebs enjoyed the festivity with friends and family. And now the time has come to bid Bappa adieu. Among others, we spotted Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali bidding farewell to their portly deity.
Donning a reddish pink saree, Shilpa looked beautiful at the Visharjan. Accompanying her was her husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan as well as Sister Shamita Shetty along with others. The Ganpati Visharjan for Kundra-Shetty family was full of fun, dance and music. The actress also shook a leg to the tune of popular Bollywood numbers and dhol tasha. Her son Viaan also seemed to be enjoying the festivity wearing a red traditional kurta-pyjama. Check out the pictures below.
We also spotted Sanjay Leela Bhansali bidding farewell to the Ganpati idol. The filmmaker was spotted carrying his Ganesha idol and leading the Ganesh visarjan procession from his home in Mumbai.
While Shilpa Shetty celebrated the Ganesh Chaturthi festival with her family, other Bollywood celebrities weren't far behind. Salman Khan welcomed Ganesha at his sister Arpita Khan's house where his family including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, sister Alvira Agnihotri, Katrina Kaif, Iulia Vantur were in attendance. We also spotted several actors at Ambani’s Antilia to seek blessings from Bappa.
