Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganpati 2018: Read to know Sthapana Muhurat and Puja Vidhi timings
The long 10 days celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi 2018 have begun. The country is all set to welcome Ganpati Bappa at their houses and pandals.
The most favourite festival, Ganesh Chaturthi 2018 is here! With the most popular chant, 'Ganpati Bappa Morya Mangal Murti Morya' the country is all set to welcome Ganpati Bappa amid dance, music and what not. The people of India are all set to welcome Lord Ganesha. From small to grand, the idols are being brought by the devotees in vibrant colours. The idols are being installed in thousands of households and various pandals in the city. Bappa is being welcomed with all dhol-tasha band and nobody can match the splendour welcome procession of the Ganpati aagman. The 10 days of long celebration is keeping everyone excited. The excitement is especially high among people of Mumbai and Pune. The cities are lit and all set to welcome Ganpati Bappa.
Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi will continue for 10 days, starting from tomorrow September 13. Devotees have already geared up to welcome everyone's most favourite God to their homes and pandals. Of course, like every year, the ceremonies will be performed according to shubh muhurat and puja vidhi. The welcome of Lord Ganesha can be dome from morning 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and then from 10:30 AM to 12 noon. The sthapana timing of the idol is from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. The second auspicious timing is from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and then, till 3:00 PM.
The fourth timing is in the evening from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. After sthapna, one can begin with Puja from 11:21 to 13:47 (according to DrikPanchang). Madhyahna is the most appropriate time for Ganesh Puja.
‘Ganpati Bappa Morya, Agle Baras tu Jaldi Aa’ is all each one would be chanting with a heavy heart on the last day of the visarjan.
