Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaaga memes have flooded the internet as India lose WC semifinal against New Zealand

Yesterday, Indian cricket team lost to the New Zealand squad at the World Cup semi-finals. To brush up your memory, New Zealand had set the target of 240 runs for India. Although the Indian players tried their best to defeat New Zealand, they lost the match by 18 runs. Cricket lovers including B-town celebs such as Varun Dhawan and Aamir Khan took to their social media page to thank and wish the team good luck for the future.

However, post India's defeat at the hands of New Zealand cricket team, people trolled the cricketers for their poor performance. Trolls targetted Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who unfortunately scored only one run in the semi-final match.

Many social media users expressed their irritation because of the captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli. If that wasn't enough, Twitterati even blamed Virat's wife and actress Anushka Sharma for his poor performance in the matches. Twitterati shared Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaaga memes to troll Virat's dull performance and India's loss against New Zealand.

For the uninitiated, this isn't the first time Anushka Sharma is being blamed for Virat's poor performance on the field. Anushka's presence at her hubby Virat Kohli's cricket matches has been deemed as bad luck several times. Back in 2015, Virat gave it back to the trolls and defended Anushka.
