Xiaomi launched two gaming laptops, one with an Intel processor and the other one with an AMD processor, that supports Nvidia RTX graphics to enhance the gaming experience. These two laptops from Xiaomi promise a fast and smooth gaming experience.

All new Redmi Gaming Laptops: Specifications and features

The new Redmi Gaming laptops that were launched today, features a display of 16.1 inches and has a screen refresh rate of 144 Hz. The refresh rate can be adjusted to 72 Hz to reduce the battery consumption. The newly launched laptops from Xiaomi have a Cooling 3.0 system with two 12V fans and five copper heat pipes that prevents the device from heat and allows the CPU and the GPU to function at full pace. 

Both the laptops have the same memory configuration, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage capacity. The devices have Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and a backlit keyboard. These two laptops offer good sound quality with DTS:X Ultra 3D audio. 

The first variant is powered by Intel Core i5- 11260H (Tiger Lake) and a Hexa - core processor with turbo frequency up to 4.4 GHz. This variant of the Redmi Gaming laptops is paired with a GeForce RTX 3050 GPU.

The second variant is powered by AMD Ryzen 5800H with eight Zen 3 cores and a boost speed of 4.4 GHz, same as the first variant. However, this variant of the Redmi Gaming laptops gets a GeForce RTX GPU with a TDP of up to 130W, which is much better than the one in the Intel variant.  

In addition, the AMD variant gets a 230W charging facility whereas the Intel variant gets 180W. The AMD variant gets 3840 CUDA cores and a 192 bit bus and the Intel variant packs 2048 CUDA cores with 128 bit memory bus.

All new Redmi Gaming Laptops: Expected price in India

These two gaming laptops from Xiaomi will be available in China before stepping in the global market. The Redmi G 2021 laptop that has Intel Core i5 will go out on sale tomorrow at a price of CNY 5,700 that is roughly Rs 64,988 in Indian Currency whereas the AMD Ryzen variant will be available from 28th September and is priced at CNY 7,000 that converted to Indian Currency will be Rs 79,700 approximately.
