Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy game; Explore the guardians and more

Square Enix released the Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy game on 26th October. The player has to play as Peter Quill who is also known as the Star Lord. The game is based on the Guardian of the Galaxy comic books. The Guardian of the Galaxy game includes Gamora, Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer, Groot and Rocket Raccoon. Main Characters of Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy game

Star Lord

The self-proclaimed leader of the team is Star Lord who is an ex-space pirate and has a speciality of killing the enemies. He is half-Spartoian and half-human and he first appeared in Marvel Preview in January 1976.

He was made the leader of the Guardian of the Galaxy when the comic was relaunched in 2008. Star Lord has featured in several action figures and animated TV series. The player has to use the Star Lord’s elemental gun as a weapon and kill the enemies.

Groot

The most powerful force of nature in Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy is Groot. We have seen him earlier in Tales of Astonish that was launched in November 1960. He is a tree-like creature and stands for a noble cause. 

Gamora

Gamora was first seen in Strange Tales that was launched in June 1975. She was adopted by Thanos. Gamora is the deadliest woman with superhuman strength and an accelerated healing power. She will be controlled by the AI in the game and will be Star Lord’s passive abilities. 

Drax the Destroyer

Drax is an important member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and is a galactic war hero in the Marvel universe. He featured in the Invincible Iron Man that was launched in February 1973. Thanos had killed his family after which the story of Drax started. 

Rocket Raccoon

Rocket Raccoon is a master in weaponry and has a heart of gold. He first appeared in Marvel 1976 and is one of the leading members of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
