The 2.2 update for the Genshin Impact will be released today for the players residing in the North American time zone while the players from other side of the world will get to download the update on 13th October. The players will have to wait for sometime to update the game due to the maintenance time; however, they will be compensated with the time. The players will be granted at least 300 primogems during the five hours of downtime. Another 300 Primogems will come from the bug fixes and other changes.

A new island named Inazuma will be introduced which will allow the players to delve through a mysterious new labyrinth and they can even play new music with the characters like Zhongli and Kazuha. With this update, the players will get new weapons and new stories that they have to uncover.
The players will keep their accounts ready to log in and wait for the time until the update is released on the server. Childe, a powerful fighter who is also known as Tartaglia is making a comeback to the limited banner during this 2.2 update. Alongside Childe, some powerful allies with Chongyun, Yanfei and Ningguang are appearing as featured 4 star characters on the banner.
