This was first announced in the Genshin Impact 1.6 livestream and was rumoured that it would release in the version 2.2. Now we can see that the leaks and rumours were correct and Tsurumi Island is finally going to come with the next update. The leading players of the Genshin IMpact 2.2 will soon explore the adventurous island by completing new challenges and finding new chests.

Genshin Impact 2.2: Tsurumi Island
miHoYo showed several images of Tsurumi Island in a short trailer during the Genshin Impact 2.2 livestream. The island looks like a dark and gloomy place and there are no buildings and people don’t reside there.
The island is covered with fog and it has a lot of mysteries to solve as no one has visited this place in years. You should watch the preview of Tsurumi Island in the official YouTube Channel of the company if you missed the livestream.
The players might make the fog disappear at some point but these can become permanent hurdles most of the time. Genshin Impact players will enjoy finding new chests, treasures in Tsurumi Island. However, there is much more to this as the most interesting feature on this island is the Rifthound monsters.
Rifthound Monsters
This will be a new challenge for the Genshin Impact players. The Rifthound will attack and inflict corrosion and elemental damage. The new effect deals with the damage, making healers practically a necessity.
Tsurumi Island has been described as a mysterious place. However, many leakers have explored the region and have uploaded the video as well. The enemies and the chests weren’t yet uploaded on the map at the time of the leak.
