Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced its first-ever esports gaming tournament in India after a long wait, as it seems that things are falling in place. Krafton is gradually increasing the pace and it seems soon the game will start conducting full-fledged events in India. Talking about the first esports event, the company is calling it the BGMI Launch Party event, which comes with a beefy prize pool and a lot more. Battlegrounds Mobile India Launch Party tournament
According to the official announcement, the BGMI Launch Party is a two-day long esports tournament that is going to start from today (July 8th) and ends on July 9th, 2021. Do note that the event is only for the top 18 selected teams which are chosen by Krafton. As this is not open to participating tournaments, we can only sit and watch the popular gaming enthusiasts playing the game.
BGMI Launch Party teams and Prize pool
Krafton has selected 18 top players to create their squad and enter the battleground tournament. We have listed the name of the teams below. Besides, the game developers are also offering a beefy prize pool of Rs 600,000, which is going to be divided among the teams for winning and performing best in the tournament. Krafton has divided categories for the prizes.

The teams which are going to take part in BGMI Launch Party include Dynamo, Kronten, Mortal, Ghatak, Shreeman Legend, Maxtern, Gaming Guru, Classified YT, Antaryami, Alpha Clasher, K18, Snax, Sangwan, Godnixon, Ronak, Jonathan, Bandookbaaz, and Clash Universe
