Apex Legends Halloween Special, Monsters Within Event Details

Apex Legends' Halloween event, called Monsters Within, is available now till November 2. It brings a slew of new eerie content to the game, including new legendary skins.

The event also brings back the limited-time Shadow Royale mode and introduces a new Arenas map called Encore to the game. During the event, Monster Within offers three different free reward tracks, with prizes including an epic Loba skin and a Monster Within Apex Pack. Event Collection And Store

Monsters Within, like previous events, has its own limited-time item collection as well as Apex packs containing the items. The event does not have an Heirloom item up for grabs like other events, It does, however, include 40 event-only items, including four new legendary skins for Bloodhound, Revenant, Seer, and Caustic.

Four legendary gun skins, four epic legend skins, and four epic gun charms are included in the set. Apex Coins cannot be used to purchase the items. The items can be crafted for double the usual amount of materials—2,400 for a legendary and 800 for an epic—or you can buy a Monster Within Apex Pack and roll for the items.

The packs are worth 400 Apex Coins, which is four times what a standard Apex Pack costs. Each event pack contains at least one event item, and duplicates are not permitted.

The Monsters Within event store will have some of the legendary Halloween skins from previous events, such as Wraith's Emerald Enchantress skin and Bloodhound's Wicked Harvest skin.

Each skin bundle includes a few extras, such as a recoloured legendary skin or a gun skin. The bundles cost 2,150 Apex Coins each, and new bundles will be available on October 26.

REWARD TRACK

There are three different free reward tracks available during the event, each lasting one week. Finishing daily event challenges will allow you to complete each reward track. Since the challenges were the same each day in previous events, the challenges are likely to remain the same for the majority of the event, though they may change for each weekly reward track. All of the challenges have a second-tier where you can earn even more points.

Week 1 Challenges

Play 2 matches in any mode and get 200 points

Get 10 Knockdown in Arenas for 200 points

Win 1 match of Arenas for 100 points

Deal 1000 damage in Battle Royale for 200 points

Get a Top 10 finish 4 times in Battle Royale for 200 points

To complete each free reward track, you'll need 3000 points. Battle pass stars, crafting materials, and Apex Packs are the most common rewards, but there are also special epic items available each week

October 12-19(three epic holo-sprays)

October 19-26 (Monster Within Apex Pack)

October 26 - November 2 (epic gun charm and epic Loba skin)

NEW ARENAS MAP

As part of the Monster Within Event, a new arenas map, Encore, has been added to the game, though it is not time-limited like the rest of the event. The map features a sandy environment with a concert venue on one side and a VIP lounge on the other and is based on Seer's homeworld, Boreas. The map has a lot of buildings but almost no high points, so players will have to face off against each other.

The time-limited mode Shadow Royale makes a brief appearance during the Monsters Within event, but only for the last week. Players who die in the mode reappear as a shadow who can use melee attacks against enemies. The shadows have an infinite number of lives and can help their living teammates. Squads aren't disbanded until all of their members have turned into shadows.

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS SALE

Apex Legends will also be celebrating Dia de Los Muertos by selling some limited-time items in the store from October 26 to November 1. The Muerte Rápida Octane skin, epic Altar Ego banner frame, rare Flirting With Death Volt skin and two Octane Apex Packs are all included in the main bundle.

During this time, older bundles such as the Loba Banshee bundle, Darkside Gibraltar bundle, and Bangalore Soldado de la Muerte bundle will be available. A full collection Dia de Los Muertos bundle will also be available, which will include all of the other items as well as an additional 15 Apex Packs. The prices for these bundles have yet to be announced by Respawn.
