Sushmita Sen, Shekhar Suman and Sonu Sood are tiffin box bullies!
Television actor Jay Soni is currently anchoring Pankita Sadrani and Arun Sheshkumar's ‘Comedy Superstar’ and could not stop raving about the equation he shares with the judges Sushmita Sen, Shekhar Sumar and Sonu Sood.
The credit for the happy ties goes to Jay’s lunch box aka Dabba in local lingo, which be brings from home.
"I used to carry ‘Makhana’ which was loved by Sonu Ji and used to carry bhel for Sushmita ma’am and Shekhar Ji. They just loved the bhel. Sushmita mam loved sukha bhel a lot because it had a different flavour which my wife had prepared. She loved the bhel so much that I had to carry separate tiffin for her. Whenever, I forgot to carry the box, Susmita ma’am would eat my tiffin and would say, “Jay, ye dabba khatam ho gaya hai so kal aajana chahiye.”
For Shekhar ji and Sushmita ma’am I would bring bhel and for Sonu ji, I would get makhanas", says Jay.
The ‘Sanskaar’ actor who would carry his tiffin to the set, had to share it with the three judges.
"They were always waiting for me to bring the tiffin. Even in the middle of shooting they would ask for the dabba and I would say, I had brought it and will give you. The moment they remembered about the tiffin, they use to ask me. Even during the break time they use to pull my leg. Sushmita ma’am use to say, ‘Achha, ab akele kha rahe ho’ then I used to give offer some food to her. Looking at this, Shekhar ji used to say, “Sush ko diya aur mujhe nahi?” so all this use to happen and whenever I used to carry their tiffins I use to give them mine."
Jay has been following a strict diet because he wants to go more leaner. He is working on himself to come up with a different look of a little rugged or more of a bad boy. Always a foodie, Jay can cook pizzas and sandwiches. We hope the judges stop taking advantage of his goodness for the sake of yummy food and spare a bite or two for him!
