Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal turned 29 on Tuesday, with Indian cricketers taking to Twitter to wish the leggie. The player was the highest wicket-taker among spinners in the recent World Cup 2019, although his form in the second half of the tournament dwindled, and he was unable to provide his team with the necessary breakthroughs.

Nonetheless, he was included in the Indian ODI squad that will tour West Indies in the first week of August. He, along with Kuldeep Yadav, however, miss out from the T20I team as the selectors have opted for a new set of tweakers for the format.

A number of cricketers took to Twitter to wish Chahal on his birthday, with Indian opener Rohit Sharma even calling him the "GOAT" (Greatest of all Time).
